Give passholders a useful reason to return.
Compare 24-hour, 48-hour and 7-day snowfall with base depth, terrain status and visible report dates. Make the website a place to plan throughout the season.
A conditions finder built around one passholder question: “Where should I ski next?” Bring snowfall, open terrain and resort discovery into one place on the Mountain Collective website.
The pass introduces the destinations. Snow Finder helps a skier decide which one to visit next.
Compare 24-hour, 48-hour and 7-day snowfall with base depth, terrain status and visible report dates. Make the website a place to plan throughout the season.
Browse all 27 destinations, narrow by region, save a shortlist and compare up to four resorts. Surface alternatives a passholder may not have considered.
The demo links to official mountain reports and pass information. A pilot could add agreed links to Mountain Collective resort pages and lodging partners, with click-through measurement.
A dedicated Snow Finder page within the existing website, reached through “Plan your trip.” The concept follows the current interior-page layout, with the Mountain Collective header, logo, type and photography around the full conditions experience.
Suggested placement: a dedicated Snow Finder page under “Plan your trip,” with a homepage link during snow events. Keep the existing website and navigation, and add Snow Finder as a substantial new planning feature. Begin with a small group of resort partners and agree on data access, update frequency and reporting standards before expanding coverage.
Choose the pilot resorts, confirm the brand assets and decide where the feature belongs on the website.
Use approved resort feeds or a licensed conditions provider. Add scheduled refresh, monitoring and a clear process for missing reports.
Track repeat visits, comparisons and outbound clicks to resort and lodging pages. Set targets after establishing a baseline.
A working responsive interface with search, region and snow filters, sorting, unit conversion, saved shortlists and side-by-side comparisons across the 27-destination roster. Seven destinations support automatic report extraction on opening or manual refresh. Other resorts use clearly dated snapshots or missing-data labels with official source links.
This is a concept for review, not a production integration. It does not update while closed. Full coverage, approved data access, refresh monitoring, accessibility review, analytics, brand approval and integration with the existing website remain part of a proposed implementation. No engagement or sales improvements have been measured.
A short walkthrough with the people responsible for Mountain Collective’s website, passholder experience and resort partnerships. The decision is whether a limited pilot would be useful, and what it would need to prove.
